Polymer Resources for Engineers,
Scientists, and Technical Personnel
The site is being developed to provide to the polymer/plastics professionals basic information on polymer materials and processing. Since polymers are visco-elastic and degradable materials, it is important to understand and consider the effect of processing conditions on the final material properties of the formed polymer parts.
My Background
and Why I Created This Website
After 50 years in the industrial plastic/polymer industry and academia, I wish to give back to the community. On this website, you'll find my best resources in the areas of polymer materials and processing. There will be additional polymer presentations, videos, and documents to be added to this website going forward. I welcome your questions and feedback.

Latest Book
Analyzing and Troubleshooting Single-Screw Extruders 2nd Edition
Authors: Gregory A. Campbell and Mark A. Spalding
Release date: January 05, 2021
This is the first book that focuses on screw rotation physics. In the first nine chapters, theories and mathematical models are developed. Then, these models are used to solve actual commercial problems in the remainder of the book. Realistic case studies are presented that are unique in that they describe the problem as viewed by a typical plant engineer and provide the actual dimensions of the screws. Overall, there is not a book on the market with this level of detail and disclosure.
